Richard Jonsen Award
for Service to the Educational Telecommunications Community
Each year, one member of the WCET community of members is recognized for his/her outstanding service to WCET and the e-learning community.
Eligibility
Only individuals associated (faculty, staff, or students) with a WCET member organization are eligible to be nominated.
Criteria
The nominee should have demonstrated:

Long-standing willingness to nurture and assist others in the e-learning community.

Significant contribution to the field.

Innovative service to distance learning students.

Outstanding service to the WCET or its members over several years.
Recognition
The identity of recipient is kept confidential until the recipient is announced during the Awards Luncheon at the WCET Annual Conference. The recipient is presented a trophy and the recipient’s name is placed on a plaque that includes all past honorees.
