of academic programs. A significant portion of their traffic is generated
web links to their site by advisors, career centers, educational and professional

The Globewide Network Academy
This site is intended to assist you in all aspects of virtual and distance
learning, whether you are a (potential) student, an instructor, or an administrator
of an educational organization going virtual by providing a central distance
learning marketplace where students and teachers can find each other. The
current basis of this marketplace is its Online Distance Education Catalog
(ODEC), which currently lists more than 17,000 courses and programs; all
of which are delivered remotely. It also has a Bookstore, which focuses on
Distance Learning materials.
