Library Regis library resources
are accessible virtually via the world wide web. Some resources,
such as the library catalog, are freely available via the
web, while access to others, such as licensed databases, require
the use of library card numbers or other authorizations and
passwords.
Library card (number) A library
card with a barcode library card number (beginning with A9/)
is issued to Regis on-campus students. Online student library
card numbers consist of the A9/the student's social security
number. Library card numbers provide the basis for authentication
and access to many library licensed databases
New student A student who is
attending the University for the first time or a student who
has previously attended the University, but has not taken
a class in the last year and has not signed a degree plan
for the program registered
Non-traditional student (graduate
or undergraduate) A student enrolled in an accelerated program
that usually meets in the evenings or on weekends. The student
is generally over the age of 23 and has full-time work experience

new surroundings or circumstances
Prospective student An individual
who has submitted a self-initiated inquiry to the University
Regisnet Regis' local and wide
area network and the system and servers which reside there
Regisnet account The online
profile for Regis University students, faculty, staff, and
approved guests that allows access to Regisnet resources
Student ID number The seven
digit, randomly generated identification number used in records
processing
Traditional student (graduate
or undergraduate) Usually 18-22 years old, attending classes
