Today’s students look to the Web first for service. Student information systems have been changing over the past several years to meet the just-in-time, online needs of students, faculty and staff. But just what is an SIS and how does it support services to students and maintain students’ educational records? Are you up-to-date about what student information can and cannot be displayed online? Join us as we explore the “backbone” of customized and personalized online experiences.

Bill Haid is the Executive Director of Enrollment Services at Colorado State University. Previously, Bill was the Registrar at the University of Colorado and University of New Mexico. Bill started his career as an assistant registrar at Arizona State University.

At CSU he has responsibility for the operations of the registrar's office, financial aid, and student accounts receivable, as well as a system and network support unit. Bill and his colleagues are embarking on one of those "conversion" projects to replace their student information system.

Bill has also served as a leader in his professional organization at the state, regional and national level for many years. Bill was president of AACRAO in 2000-2001. Bill received his BA from San Jose State University and his MBA from Arizona State University.
