Today’s students look to the Web first for service. Student
information systems have been changing over the past several
years to meet the just-in-time, online needs of students,
faculty and staff. But just what is an SIS and how does it
support services to students and maintain students’ educational
records? Are you up-to-date about what student information
can and cannot be displayed online? Join us as we explore
the “backbone” of customized and personalized online experiences.
Bill Haid is the Executive Director of Enrollment Services
at Colorado State University. Previously, Bill was the Registrar
at the University of Colorado and University of New Mexico.
Bill started his career as an assistant registrar at Arizona
State University.
At CSU he has responsibility for the operations of the registrar's
office, financial aid, and student accounts receivable, as
well as a system and network support unit. Bill and his colleagues
are embarking on one of those "conversion" projects
to replace their student information system.
Bill has also served as a leader in his professional organization
at the state, regional and national level for many years.
Bill was president of AACRAO in 2000-2001. Bill received his
BA from San Jose State University and his MBA from Arizona
State University.
